Greece has the 10th longest coastline worldwide measuring a length of 14.880 km, whereas its land boundaries are 1,160 km in total.
What most people do not know is that beside the hundreds of Greek islands, 80 % of Greece is covered with mountains or hills, thus, making Greece one of Europe’s most mountainous countries.
