Central Greece

The region termed Central Greece is bordered on the north by Epirus and Thessaly  (and is washed on the north-west by the Ambracian Gulf), on the west by the Ionian Sea, on the south by the Gulfs of Patra and Corinth and the Saronic  Gulf, and on the east by the Aegean. The Malliakos and Euboean Gulfs lie between the east coast of Central Greece and the island of Euboea. Central Greece is a largely mountainous area, whose main ranges are as follows: Tymfristos (2315 m.), Panaitoliko (1924 m.), Othrys (1728 m.), Vardousia (2349 m.), Giona (2510 m.), Parnassus (2457 m.), Oiti (2153 m.), Kallidromo (1399 m.), Elikonas (1748 m.) and Kithaironas (1408 m.). to the south-west of Mt Parnassus lies the town of Amfissa, surrounded by the largest plain in the region. The main rivers are the Spercheios, the Acheloos, the Evinos and the Mornos. Most of the lakes are concentrated in the west of the region (Lakes Trichonida, Lysimachia, Ozelos and Amvrakia), with Lakes Iliki and Paralimni to the east.

Viotia

traditional and picturesque towns and villages, magnificent landscapes, along with mountainous and seaside settlements. The choice is yours.
