Kiotari is a beautiful traditional settlement which is located in the southeast side of Rhodes, in the wider area of Lindos, from which it is 13 kilometers away. The distance between Kiotari and the airport and the seaport of Rhodes is 50 and 60 kilometers. It is a rather peaceful tourist resort, most suitable for family vacations and relaxation. It offer an extended organized beach with gray sand and blue waters as well as some additional facilities like sun beds and umbrellas available to rent and the ability to try out some sea sports. Despite these things rarely will you see this beach overcrowded like Lindos or Faliraki.
It can also offer lots of different kinds of places to stay, as well as some cafeterias and night bars to enjoy your drink in the evening. The restaurants of the area give you the opportunity to choοse from a wide variety of traditional greek tastes. Among the various sights of the district, the Byzantine castle of the nearby village Asklipieio stands out and is really worth visiting. |
