Agia Anna in Naxos Island
 

The settlement of Agia Anna is located just after the settlement of Agios Prokopios. It's a beautiful little village of a few round-the-year inhabitants which is only 7 kilometers away from the Chora of Naxos. It is connected with Chora via public transportation and especially during the summer the itineraries are more frequent and until late at night. Agios Arsenios in Naxos Island
 

Agios Arsenios is a small picturesque village built in a valley full of trees and flowers. The house are whitewashed and the courtyard filled with greenery. It is located on the west side of the island, has approximately 700 round-the-year inhabitants and can be found within a distance of 8 kilometers from Chora. In Agios Arsenios you will be able to admire a few picturesques chapels scattered along the area. You shouldn't omit to visit the church of Agios Spiridonas and of Agios Nikolaos, that are considered the jewels of the village

The settlement of Agios Prokopios in Naxos is located on the west side if th village and is only 3,5 kilometers away from Chora. Its inhabitants are very few but the tourist activity in the spot increases more and more ech year. There are lots of fully organized hotels in the area as well as lots of shops selling everything the visitors would need during their stay here. Apolonas in Naxos Island
 

On the southeast coast of Naxos, 33 kilometers away from Chora there is the picturesque fishing village of Appollo. It's a beautiful little village offering an equally beaurifuk beach, while its round-the-year inhabitants barely come up to 100. In the entrance of the village there is a Kouros statue depicting Appollo. It is laying on the ground and is estimated to be more than 2500 years old. In Appollo village you will be able to find some remarkable taverns, where you will have the chance to taste fresh fish and seafood.

Galini in Naxos Island
 

Galini is a small picturesque village located on the soutern side of Naxos, within a distance of only 7 kilometers from Chora, while its inhabitants are very few.You will be impressed by the beautiful whitewashed houses and by the balconies filled with flowers. The lush green environment, consisting mainly of lemon and orange trees will enchant you. Between the village of Galini and the sea there is the monastery of Ipsilotera which used to serve as a base for the farmers when fighting against the Franks.
